Cebu's most exclusive address is not in Cebu,
its on Mactan Island.

Facing East near the point at Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, this exclusive resort village is a convenient 15-minute drive from the Mactan International Airport and Mactan Economic Zone I (MEZ I), and 30 minutes away from Cebu City. Located almost at the northeastern tip of the island, the 3-hectare village is right in the center of what is fast becoming Mactan's most sought-after and desirable beachfront areas. The Punta Engaño peninsula is already the private enclave of Cebu's elite; it is also the site of the Shangri-la Hotel and Resort, a luxurious 580-room complex of world-class and five-star amenities. Another hotel, the Hilton International, is opening in Febuary 2005.
Coralpoint Resort Village is probably Cebu's most expensive address. This gated community is meticulously designed to rival similar upscale resort developments in Southeast Asia. The village has a 235-meter beachfront - one of the longest stretches of private beach on Mactan Island. This idyllic seaside community commands sweeping views of the crystal blue waters of the Hilutungan Channel and the nearby islands of Olango (Sta. Rosa), Sulpa, Hilutungan, Panganan, and Bohol in the east, and the Camotes Islands to the north.
The resort development has its own private island (Islabella) and includes an exclusive clubhouse and restaurant; boat ramp (slipway) for speedboats 35f or less; two fresh water swimming pools; whirlpool spa; a saltwater pool; men's and ladies locker and massage rooms; landscaped and terraced beachfront and park areas; one hectare exclusive foreshore area; a concrete perimeter fence; 8- and 6- meter-wide concrete roadways with sidewalks, storm drains and gutters. Internet broadband connections, telephone service and cable T.V. are readily available. streetlighting; gate and guardhouse; a 24-hour security program; central water tank and cistern; beach cabanas; a lighted tennis court; and cable TV. No other subdivision in Cebu provides such a comprehensive list of amenities for the exclusive use of its residents in such spectacular setting.
A cluster of low-rise (3- and 4-story) condominiums and medium-rise tower residences 6 and 8 story are already constructed within the village. Each condominium is designed to provide a unique view of the beach, water and islands beyond. Only the finest building materials are used in the development. The overall architectural concept incorporates Mediterranean flair with Filipino-Spanish design. All roofs are of tegula tile, while primary structures are mainly concrete with Mactan stone or pebble-washout finishes.
Open verandahs and terraces are integrated into each condominium unit. Large picture windows and sliding glass panels and doors complete the airy ambiance and resort character of each residence. Terraced gardens, walkways and plant boxes adorned with bougainvillea sprays, assorted palms and other ornamental plants provide tasteful accents and complete the lush, tropical atmosphere of the resort. This low-density condominium community is undoubtedly the finest outside Metro Manila and contains some of the most spectacular seaside residences in the Philippines.
